Yeats College has announced that a record 19 of this year's current Leaving Certificate students have been awarded the UCD Entrance Scholars 2016 Awards.

This is the most significant number of scholarships awarded to any school outside the Dublin area. These awards are a culmination of numerous accolades received by the Leaving Certificate class of 2016. Principal Terry Fahy commented: “I am delighted for these students. They are thoroughly deserving of their success and it is reflective of their efforts and their resolve to achieve their goals. These students displayed elite potential to international standards in academic pursuits, and we were delighted to encourage and to support their talent.”
