Dublin born, London based singer-songwriter to play Róisín Dubh this weekend

Sample Answer - aka, Dublin born, London based singer-songwriter Maurice O’Connor - embarks on a national tour this week, and plays the Róisín Dubh on Sunday November 20 at 8pm.

Mixing drums, bass, synths and acoustic guitar with his loop pedal, along with diverse influences ranging from The Beatles and Bob Dylan to Jay-Z and Tyler The Creator, the 22-year-old melds hip-hop, indie, classic pop songwriting, and authentic urban storytelling with unique flair. Having released two EPs in 2015, and the singles ‘Good Boy’ and ‘Textile Baby’, Sample Answer has received support from BBC’s Annie Mac and Zane Lowe, while his two sets at Electric Picnic have been highly praised.
