The new Bodhran Magic adult group courses are kicking off soon and running upstairs in the Quays Pub.
The bodhran is simply a brilliant instrument to play and is becoming very popular for good reason. Run by professional Galway musician and drum educator Brian Ferguson, the courses provide proper tuition and a brilliant step-by-step learning system that keeps students motivated, inspired, and feeling that little bit of magic that only playing this drum can bring.
The classes are social, relaxed, and great fun with different levels available from complete beginner to improver and beyond. There are monthly trad sessions too for the students to go along, play, and really develop their skills live which is the best way to learn. All drums are provided.
