All Tvvins - debut album, Galway show

ALL TVVINS are one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Ireland in years. Tomorrow sees the release of their debut album, IIVV, and they play Galway the following week.

The band - Conor Adams (vocals/bass ) and Lar Kaye (guitar/synths ) - will give an in-store performance in OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street, on Wednesday August 17 at 2pm. Their music is a furious, thrilling, collision of post-rock, indie-pop, and electro, described by The Sunday Times as "all spiky guitars, shimmering synths, and kiss-off lyrics” and as “dot-dash post-punk guitar lines and immediately contagious vocals", by Clash.

The album is released via Warner Bros, and features the singles ‘Darkest Ocean’ (three million plays online ); ‘Thank You’, nominated for Irish Song of the Year at the Choice Music Prize; ‘Too Young To Live’; recent radio hit ‘Resurrect Me’; and new single ‘These 4 Words’.

All Tvvins formed in 2013 as a union between former members of Adebisi Shank and The Cast of Cheers. They have supported Arcade Fire, Pixies, Metric, Editors, and Kodaline, and played a number of European festivals.
