Spanish food festival returning to city streets

The Campo Viejo Tapas Trail 2016 is returning to Galway for another week filled with Spanish language, culture, and most importantly, cuisine.

The trail will bring the greats of Spanish food to life with 56 Central, Bite Club, Cava Bodega, and the House Hotel all joining in, and offering a host of edible delights.

“We are thrilled that it is that time of the year again, with warmer weather, and the return of the Campo Viejo Tapas Trail to the streets of Galway city,” said brand manager at Campo Viejo, Avril Gilligan.

“It is a wonderful chance to experience the colour and vibrancy of Spanish culture in some of Galway city’s best restaurants.”

On the trail, foodies will visit each of the four restaurants, sample some of the best tapas available in the city, and enjoy a selection of dishes created to complement the well-balanced, tasty, and full flavours associated with Campo Viejo wine.

Hosts will guide guests along the route from restaurant to restaurant, inspiring them with local city and Spanish anecdotes, and share expertise and insights into the characteristics of Campo Viejo wines.

Tours will take place on August 27, and continue until early September, with tickets available at €30 per person.
