Paddy Casey to play Galway in Race Week

Singer-songwriter to play free gig at McGettigan's

PADDY CASEY'S musical journey began with him busking on the streets of Galway, and this city is a place to which he returns regularly, with his next show here taking place during Race Week.

Paddy Casey will play McGettigan’s, Prospect Hill, on Friday July 29, where he will play music from across his career, including 'Saints and Sinners', 'The Lucky One', and 'Sweet Suburban Sky'.

Casey released his debut album, Amen (So Be It ) in 1999, which went triple platinum, and was awarded the Best Debut Album award at the Hot Press Irish Music Awards. Living was released in 2003, producing the hit single, 'Saints and Sinners'. He went on to win the Best Irish Male award at the 2004 and 2005 Meteor Irish Music Awards.

Admission is free but entry is on a first come, first served basis.
