FREE COMIC Book Day, the yearly event when you can show up at Sub-City Comics in the Corbett Court Shopping Centre and grab a comic of your choice from the FCBD selection for free, returns this Saturday.
FCBD is a celebration of comic book culture and is a great way to get into comics, or, for people who are already fans, to explore new titles. This year there will be free issues of hit Marvel and DC comics, including Marvel's Civil War, DC's Suicide Squad, and comics featuring Doctor Who, Adventure Time, Transformers, and Attack on Titan, and a selection of more mature themed horror, sci-fi and fantasy comics. There will be free comics for young children featuring Spongebob Squarepants, Pokemon, and Teen Titans.
