Jes Gathering to bring past and present together

Current and former parents, staff and pupils of Coláiste Iognáid will get together on April 29 for the second annual Jes Gathering.

Following the tremendous success of last year’s Jes Gathering, the night of fun and entertainment will take place again this year on Friday April 29 in the Ardilaun Hotel.

“There has already been a lot of interest from former pupils, with some travelling from overseas to attend,” said Siobhan Casey, one of the organisers of the event.

The evening will include a drinks reception at 7pm, followed by dinner and a short fundraising auction hosted by former pupil Colm O’Donnellan.

The top item in the auction will be a holiday for two in the five-star Jumeirah Beach Hotel, provided by another former pupil, Gerald Lawless of the Jumeirah Group, and return tickets from Dublin to Dubai sponsored by Emirates.

After dinner entertainment will be provided by the hugely popular Guinness Jazz Band.

Tickets are €55 each (10 per table ). Further information and bookings can be made through Siobhan Casey on 083 1029020 or Jacinta O’Gorman on 086 1031420, or by email to [email protected]. Tickets can also be purchased at www.eventbrite.ie
