The Eskies return to Galway

THE ESKIES' unique brand of folk noir/gypsy jazz will be heard when the German-Irish band play Monroe's Live on Friday February 19 at 9pm.

The band - Ian Bermingham (guitar/vocals ), Tim George (bass/vocals ), Steven Kearney (drums/vocals ), Rob Murphy (mandolin/guitar ), and Sean O'Reilly (guitar/vocals ) - formed in Germany in 2006. They have also released the album, After The Sherry Went Round, which they worked on with Gavin Glass. They have played Knockanstockan and Electric Picnic and supported The Hot Sprockets.
