A kick in the dark — 1,500 registered for Galway Night Run

The Revive Active inaugural Galway Night Run on tomorrow night has attracted over 1,500 entrants.  The run which is taking place this Friday on The Prom at 8pm has seen remarkable entries from all across the west coast. The 5km route will take participants along Galway Bay, beginning and ending at Mutton Island. 

This chipped flat course race will allow runners and walkers of all athletic ability to go out and enjoy this novel way to spend an October evening and ‘Kick the wall’ for Croi.

All proceeds from entry are going directly to Croi. Participants received a Portwest reflective, breathable running jacket and a 7 day Revive Active Supplement pack. This Race Pack has a total value in excess of €70 and was couriered to homes and or offices across the west in the lead up to the event.

All runners and walkers are advised to arrive from 7:30pm, when Ronan from Revive Active will be warming up the huge crowd and the race will kick off at 8pm sharp. The race is beginning and finishing at the entrance to Mutton Island. A post Galway Night Run Party is being held in Busker Brownes from 9:30pm and everyone is invited to attend.
