Adult learning at Headford Adult Learning Centre

Headford Adult Learning Centre opened at Main Street, Headford, in 2008. It is a basic education service for adults covering the areas of Headford, Belclare, Corrandulla, Annaghdown, Caherlistrane, Lackagh, Claregalway, Athenry, and Oranmore.

Students go to the centre to improve their skills and confidence in reading, writing, spelling, everyday maths, and computers. Students work in small groups or on a one-to-one basis with a tutor. Study times are available during the day and in the evenings. Students learn at their own pace.

Learning is provided in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Services are free and confidential.
