LEADING BRITISH DJ and producer Alex Arnout is coming to Galway to DJ at the Basement Project clubnight in The Cellar Bar on Friday April 24 at 9pm.
Inspired by early Chicago and Detroit house and Grandmaster Flash records led Alex to DJing and developing his production skills. He went on to release ‘One Nation’, featuring rapper Tyree Cooper on Adam Selton and Subb-an’s One Records label. Collaborations followed with Jamie Jones and Clive Henry, as well as EPs and tracks for Fuse, Fear Of Flying, Composite, Turquoise Blue, and Vitalik.
Alex has also been instrumental in the careers of others; including Maya Jane Coles, through her first EP, Sick Panda, on Dogmatik as well as featuring her in label showcases in Ibiza and Off Sonar festival.
Support is from Basement Project residents and Gamadon, Jasper, Ian Hart, and Ninja Tips. Admission is €10/8.
