Free digital marketing, financial sector and sales events seminars open to Galway businesses

A free digital marketing event covering Lead Generation, SEO and Cloud will take place on April 23 in the Connacht Hotel from 9.30am to 1pm. This is being funded by Galway Executive Skillnet, the event will cover Lead Generation, SEO and Cloud with guest speaker and well-known social media trainer Damien Mulley.

Mulley will outline the benefits of Lead generation via website, using LinkedIn, Twitter and Cloud, Dropbox, Google Drive and iCloud. This workshop will highlight the areas where businesses can use their time efficiently to market their products effectively through digital media.

This event will be followed by a free seminar for those working in the financial sector. James Caron from Lucas Financial Consulting and Linda Ford from Sallisford Coaching will both be presenting ‘Providing financial services in a changing world’ on April 27.

Mr Caron will speak about essential areas in the financial sector including ethics, while Ms Ford will cover how to set and achieve goals using the FIVE STAGE FOCUS SYSTEM ©, which is aimed at people who want to manage change effectively and take control of their business goals. This event takes place from 9.30am to 1pm in the Pillo Hotel. Networking with refreshments starts from 8.45am.

On May 21 from 9.30am to 4.30pm in the Pillo Hotel, a free full-day course with Dermot McConkey will look at changing the approach to winning sales.

Attitude, strategy application and persistence are elements which together ensure businesses will meet sales targets. Mr McConkey has a reputation for being a highly enthusiastic, motivational and popular trainer where his fast paced delivery of the psychology of success is key to every talk.

There will be a networking opportunity during light lunch.
