Remembering babies who have died

A service of remembrance for babies who died around the time of birth will take place on Sunday at 3pm at the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue.

The event is being organised by Feileacain (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland ).

The association was set up by a group of bereaved parents to offer support to other families bereaved through stillbirth and neonatal death (either recently or long ago ) and also to promote research into the causes of perinatal loss.

Anyone affected by the death of a baby is welcome to attend - including parents, siblings, family members, midwives, neighbours and friends - to come along and remember their baby in the company of other families and the staff who cared for them. Refreshments will be served following the service.

For further information contact Feileacain at (085 ) 2946464 or (028 ) 22407 or log on to www.feileacain.ie or follow it on Facebook.
