Galway Food Festival returns in April

The fourth annual Galway Food Festival will take place during the Easter Weekend of Thursday April 2 to Monday 6, showcasing the city and county’s unique food produce, traditions, and restaurants.

This year’s festival will have the food village at the Spanish Arch, the Moycullen and Woodquay country markets, workshops, and live cooking demonstrations involving more than 100 food outlets and producers from across the city and county.

There were also be new activities such as food taster trails along Galway streets; Aran Islands food tours, exploring food harvesting traditions and today’s techniques; coastal foraging trips along the Wild Atlantic way; craft beer making tours, whiskey and wine tasting, cocktail classes, and talks on the food and drinks industry. There will also be an appearance by acclaimed chef Derry Clarke.
