KPMG Galway expansion as it moves to new premises at Dockgate

KPMG is the leading business advisory firm in the West of Ireland with a presence in Galway which is now in its 35th year. The Galway office has over 70 professionals providing audit, tax and advisory services to a wide range of clients in the BMW and Mid West region.

Due to its continued expansion, KPMG are relocating to much larger premises at Dockgate, Dock Road, Galway. This move reflects their confidence in the region and the continued success of their clients which range from dynamic private and family owned businesses to leading multinationals.

KPMG thanks those businesses for the confidence they have shown in choosing KPMG to help them achieve their business objectives.

“We are delighted to have a significant and growing presence in Galway and to be involved in many aspects of life and business in the city. For example, we are actively involved with and support the Galway Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Cancer Care West and Croi at Board level and through various committees and our Corporate Social Responsibility committee provides support throughout the year to various organisations,” said Brian Thornton, KPMG Galway.

“Galway is a very dynamic city and a great place to live and work. The success of Galway has been based on a range of factors from excellent third level education at NUI, Galway and the GMIT and to the work of the IDA and Enterprise Ireland in supporting existing businesses and attracting new ventures to the region.

“This is evidenced by the significant clustering of the Medtech and IT/telecommunications sectors and by the presence of other significant employers in the healthcare, marine, arts and tourism sectors. We are very pleased to be part of that ongoing success story.” he said.

“We are delighted with our move to new and larger offices at Dockgate and our highly talented team will continue to provide excellent advisory services to support both local and international businesses in the region,” concluded Mr Thornton.
