HAVE YOU a song to sing? Are you a songwriter, guitarist, etc, and want to share your voice and point of view, but have no opportunity to get on stage?
If the answer is ‘Yes’ to any/all of the above then check out PLAY! at The Cellar Bar, Eglinton street, on Mondays from 9.30pm.
PLAY! is a night to get musicians and singers of all standards and stature up to perform with a full live house band. Those interested need only bring their voice or instrument, or just sit and watch and check out emerging talent in Galway’s music scene.
All genres of music are welcome and the night has already seen performances by soul singer Lucia Evans (Heartbeat of Home ), Ailbhe Hession (The Voice of Ireland ), Rick Harris (AMP ), as well as members of Pyramid, Earthship, Whifflefit, The Wave, Fraggle Rock, Roadhouse, Crossfire, Le Fonque, Sean Slattery & The Connections, and EDFT.
