German alt-rock band Suddenly Human to play Monroe’s

SUDDENLY HUMAN are an alternative rock group from Halle in Germany.

They combine classic rock riffs with catchy melodies and electronic and atmospherical sounds to form an interesting mix of alternative-rock and pop.

The group were formed back in 2011 by singer Philipp Saaler and have since played a myriad of gigs in Germany's funkiest cities from Berlin to Leipzig. They have also tried their hands on the European festival circuit in Italy and the Czech Republic.

Big City Ants, the first EP by Suddenly Human, was produced in 2012 at the Dailyhero Recordings Studios in Berlin with the help of former 5Bugs guitarist Florian Nowak.

Suddenly Human have released their current EP, Closer than Before, in autumn of last year with the input of former artist and producer Markus Gumball in his Cubeaudio Studios in Göttingen.

They play Monroe's Live with support from Polaralis and Void on Thursday August 28 at 10pm. Tickets are €5, available from www.monroes.ie
