Celebrate with Tiny Dancer at Claregalway Castle

Help fund Tiny Dancer Lily-Mae Morrison’s on-going fight against cancer by joining her at a charity party this weekend at Claregalway Castle.

This Saturday, the Tiny Dancer Party in the Castle, featuring singers such as Paddy Casey, will be held to help celebrate the progress made by Lily-Mae and raise even more funds for a costly clinical trial, called DFMO, in Michigan in the US which aims to prevent a relapse.

The brave six-year-old has been battling stage 4 neuroblastoma but has been in remission for 10 months now. Since tests revealed no traces of the disease last October, Lily-Mae has been availing of the DFMO treatment which is specifically for children whose cancer is in remission. She has been travelling to Helen de Vos Hospital in Michigan four times a year for three days at a time to undergo the treatment.

The family fun day and music festival in aid of Lily-Mae and the Sunni Mae Trust will be made up of two stages with performers including Paddy Casey, Brian Flanagan, ConTempo String Quartet, Mariah Butler, The Reverse, Oddity, Who Knows, Athenry Music School, Ballybrit Gospel Choir, Lackagh Trat Musicians, James Frawley and Friends, and The Vintage Infants. There will also be the Kid’s Club Sunni Mae Tent which will feature at puppet show, the Light Up Gold art and balloon race, interactive dance with Rionach Ni Neil, and a children’s disco. There will also be bouncy castles, circus rides, street soccer, and much much more.
