“RUN, RUN as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbreadman.” You might not be able to catch him, but you will be able to see this mischievous fellow.
Miriam Lambert, who has been at the heart of the Irish puppetry industry since childhood, having grown up with the Lambert Puppet Theatre in Dublin, is coming to Galway to present her show The Gingerbreadman.
Miriam, using herself as a ‘humanette’ (where she herself plays at being a puppet ), bakes gingerbread and goes on baked biscuit runs, eluding the hungry grasp of everyone - until she meets a very clever fox.
The Gingerbreadman is at the Town Hall Theatre on Sunday August 24 at 2pm. Tickets are available through 091 - 569777 or www.tht.ie
