Declan O’Rourke - three Galway shows

DECLAN O’ROURKE, the songwriter whose admirers include Paul Weller and Eddie Reader, will plays County Galway three times this summer.

The first is a Galway International Arts Festival show in the Róisín Dubh on Thursday July 17 at 8pm. Here O’Rourke will be joined by a string quartet, which should provide an interesting twist on songs from his albums Since Kyabram (2004 ), Big Bad Beautiful World (2007 ), and Mag Pai Zai (2011 ). The second show is on-board the Killary Fjord tour boat on Saturday July 19. The boat departs from Nancy’s Point, Leenane, at 8pm and the trip will take about two hours. To book contact 091 - 566736 or email [email protected].
