Galway supporters form new Tribesmen GAA club

A new Galway GAA Supporters’ Club was launched this week at the G Hotel by county chairman Noel Treacy.

The Tribesmen GAA Supporters Club is an amalgamation of both the former Galway Hurling supporters committees and the former Galway football supporters.

The key objectives of the new club is to to build support for all inter-county teams, both football and hurling and, secondly, to generate additional funding to exclusively support the preparations of senior inter-county teams.

Galway is one of the few dual counties participating at the highest level in both codes and the county togs six adult and 12 underage teams in both codes each year with the average cost of training all those teams about €1 million.

Chairman Noel Treacy called on all Galway people in the city, county, country, and all over the world, to join the Tribesmen GAA Supportera’ Club.

Individual membership costs €20, family membership for five or more costs €100, business membership costs €200, and corporate membership is also available for larger companies.
