Drenge - grungy garage rock @ Róisín Dubh

THEIR MUISIC has been called “a grungy, garage rock racket” by Q while the NME said their future looks set to be “nothing less than heart-stoppingly, bone-shakingly exciting”.

This is Drenge, the English duo of Eoin and Rory Loveless, who play Strange Brew at the Róisín Dubh on Thursday July 3 at 9pm.

Over the past year the band have been making waves, with their 2013 debut album ending up on the ‘best of the year’ lists in the NME and The Fly; supporting the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park; winning the 2014 Best New Band award from the NME; and appearing at the 6 Music Festival.

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net , the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
