Don Stiffe charity gig for Galway Lifeboat service

DON STIFFE, one of Galway’s leading folk singer-songwriters, hosts a concert in Monroe’s Live, tomorrow from 10pm, to raise funds for the Galway Lifeboat service.

‘The Bard of Bohermore’ as he is known, Don released his debut album, Start Of A Dream in 2006 to critical acclaim. In 2009, he played to 50,000 people alongside Sharon Shannon and The Saw Doctors at the Volvo Ocean Race, and reached the finals of RTÉ’s The All-Ireland Talent Show in 2011.

Galway Lifeboat is run entirely by volunteers and is on call, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Also on the bill are The Party Animals and Oddity. Tickets are €10 and available on the door or through www.monroes.ie and

091 - 583397.
