GALWEGIANS WHO would like a chance of starring in The Producers, the hilarious Mel Brooks comedy-musical can try out for auditions next week.
The most successful musical on Broadway and the winner of 12 Tonys, The Producers is coming to Galway in March 2014 in a staging by The Galway Patrician Musical Society.
A launch night and auditions have been arranged for the show. The launch night will be held at The Salthill Hotel on Thursday September 12 from 8pm sharp, where audition pieces will be handed out and a DVD of the film will be shown.
The auditions will be held on Sunday 15 at The Salthill Hotel from 2pm onwards. The €30 membership to the society will have to be paid prior to auditions. All are welcome to try out.
