Four hundred turn out for Club Vitae 5k Coast Road Run

Close to 400 people took part in the Club Vitae 5k Coast Road Run, which took place last week in aid of Western Alzheimer’s.

The winner on the day was Michael Shannon, Niamh Hennelly was the first woman over the line. The men’s race saw Matt Bidwell finish second, with Colm Daly third. In the women’s category Fionnuala Keane was second and Jacqueline O'Donnell was third.

The first man in the o40 category was Kevin Carr, and the first o40 woman was Majella Ni Chriochain.

Medtronic was the winner of the corporate challenge.
