Runaway GO @ Róisín Dubh

BELFAST INDIE quintet Runaway GO release their new single ‘I Would Go’ tomorrow and play upstairs in the Róisín Dubh on Saturday at 9pm.

The band - Javed Love, Chris Jackson, James Lappin, Dave Jackson, and Fiona O’Kane - recorded the new single with Jonathan Shakhovskoy (U2, Beady Eye, Amy Winehouse ) in Belfast. Their debut album will be out later this year.

Hot Press called the band an “Irish act you have to hear” while BBC NI’s Across the Line said they were “one of the hardest working bands in Northern Ireland”. Swearimnotpaul.com declared: “It’s so refreshing to hear someone sing in their own accent. That’s exactly what you get from Belfast indie-pop band Runaway GO.”

Admission is €5. See www.runawaygo.com
