New tyre centre opens in city centre

Park Tyres Ltd has now opened its latest depot at Fairhill, Lower Dominick Street - opposite Munroe’s Tavern.

Established in 1989 with its first depot in Glenamaddy, Co Galway, Park Tyres specialised in tyre sales and repairs for cars, trucks, tractors, and earthmovers, in addition to providing servicing, alignment, brakes and batteries.

After 15 successful years trading, a second depot was opened in Tuam, Co Galway, beside the West Wing restaurant, which prompted Park Tyres to diversify into tyre and garage equipment sales. An alliance was formed with an Italian manufacturer Guiliano Automotive Equipment, a world leader in the field, and Park Tyres Ltd is the sole distributors in Ireland for these products.

The Tuam facility is a working showroom for the garage equipment and the place where customers can see products in action.

Park Tyres currently employs eight people with a view to increasing this number, and says all staff are highly trained and customer focused.

With a long established network of suppliers, Park Tyres is able to provide a wide variety of tyre brands with excellent prices.
