Entries open for Gort Road Race
The second Gort Road Race race will take place in Gort, Co Galway, on Sunday February 17.
Hosted by the South Galway Athletics Club, the four mile event is suitable for walkers and runners of all fitness levels.
More than 200 competitors are expected to compete in the four mile loop around Gort town and the surrounding countryside.
The course is AI permitted and Jones Counter measured. The race headquarters will be the Gort Community Centre where changing facilities and refreshments are provided.
Entry costs €15 and is available both on www.runireland.com and on the day in Gort Community Centre between 12 noon and 1.30pm.
