A spokesman for the Advertiser said that the newspaper has been a forerunner of the concept of bringing news of deals in Galway to the homes of its readers and that it was natural progression that these offers should now come via digital media.
The Advertiser has one of the largest social media following in Ireland with its postings being read by in excess of 200,000 followers each week.
In its first few weeks, all the bargains available on deals.advertiser.ie were snapped up quickly with offers on meals, accommodation, beauty treatments setting the way for an exciting 2013 when the best deals in Galway will be available on its pages.
