Coaching expert to present business seminar

An expert in leadership coaching will present a workshop in the Clayton Hotel next Friday (November 9 ).

Peter Bluckert, international coach and leadership consultant, joins with CIPD Western Region to address “The Role of Coaching in the development of individuals, teams and managers in the organisation”.

Spanning 25 years, Bluckert’s work has taken him into many private, public and not-for profit organisations in various countries. He believes that coaching for leadership development can support HR professionals and managers to fulfil their potential and achieve great things for themselves and their organisations.

Joining Peter Bluckert at the seminar/workshop will be Michael Loughnane, manager of organisation development at ESB, Dublin, and Colin Curran, HR director EMEA Operations at Teleflex, Athlone. Both will will share their experiences in implementing change and the development of key talent within their organisations and discuss the role that coaching played in supporting their teams to achieve these objectives.

That evening TV presenter Dáithí Ó Sé plays will be MC at the CIPD Gala Dinner at the Clayton Hotel. He will be joined by Vinnie Mongan and Restless band who will provide the entertainment.
