Knocknacarra school project culminates in new public sculpture

A new public art installation at Knocknacarra National School will be unveiled by the Minister of State for Training and Skills tomorrow at 9.30am.

Bronze bee hive sculptures by artist Mark Rode, which will permanently feature in the school’s front garden, is the culmination of a two-year school art project around the theme of honey bees. The project was funded by the Department of Education and Skills under the Per Cent for Art Scheme.
