Róisín O for Monroe’s Live

DUBLIN SINGER-songwriter Róisín O, proclaimed as “One To Watch” for 2012 by Hotpress, and her band ,will play Monroe’s Live on Saturday November 3 at 9pm.

The 23-year-old first came to attention when her song ‘Drifting’ was singled out for special praise when it appeared on the Woman’s Heart Then And Now album in 2010. This was followed by the EP The Thrill in 2011, and the single ‘Here We Go’ in May of this year. The song was inspired by the Electric Picnic and selected by Ian Dempsey as his song of the week on Today FM.

Her debut album The Secret Life of Blue was released in September. She has played support to Imelda May, The Coronas, and Mary Black.
