ProActivate Ireland to address migrant unemployment with new course

are keen to developing and improve their skills for the workplace and their employment prospects, are invited to take part in a new course.

ProActivate Ireland, which was launched last year to migrants in the city and county, will host its first project E_Epsol which seeks to compare a candidate’s skills to those required for particular jobs.

The programme is being piloted in Galway over the next several months and ProActivate is looking for a number of non-Irish born migrants to take part.

ProActivate is a non-profit company formed in the last year to directly access European funding for projects that can benefit the community in Galway. It is an associate partner of the Translex language school and translation business at the Granary Learning Centre in Dominick Street.

Participation is free of charge. Interested candidates should send an email to [email protected] briefly outlining their interest.

All migrants are invited to attend a meeting to be held at ProActivate Ireland in the offices of Translex Ltd at the Granary Learning Centre, 58 Dominick Street, on Friday October 12 at 3pm
