The Sumbrellas in concert

THE SUMBRELLAS, the Galway based folk-rock/Americana band, will play the launch party for The Scholars Rest, formerly The River Inn) in Newcastle tomorrow from 8pm.
The Sumbrellas core membership are American singer-songwriter Chris White and Italian fiddle player Fede Betti. The band’s album Country Disco will be officially launched in October.
There will also be a BBQ. The Scholars Rest is under the same management as The Oslo, The Cottage, and The Salt House and there will be a focus on craft beer.
