Thanks for the Gunas for Goal

Dear Editor,

On behalf of GOAL, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all those helped in any way to make the recent GUNA for GOAL fundraising event such a successful evening.

Without those who donated clothes or prizes, gifted or loaned accessories, transport and storage, and to those volunteers who gave so freely of their time, the GUNA for GOAL fundraiser would not have been possible.

A big thank you also to the substantial crowds who turned out at the Twelve Hotel, Barna and helped us raise almost €5,000 for GOAL’s work in the developing world. The final total should be larger still, as some promissory cash and cheque donations have yet to be added.

Once again, many thanks to all who, by their selfless giving, have helped GOAL give much needed assistance to some of the most deprived and poverty-stricken people on the planet.
