Auctioneer Vincent Walsh, Ronan Callanan, and Caitriona Leonard of Ulster Bank at the Callanan & Walsh Construction open day at Eallagh, Headford, on Saturday.

On Saturday and Sunday last Callanan & Walsh Construction held the launch of its clearance sale at Eallagh, Headford.

The sun was shining and a large crowd turned up on the day to take advantage of the greatly reduced asking prices.

“Several deposits were received on the day and we were delighted with the response,” said Ronan Walsh of Callanan & Walsh. “Potential buyers also had the chance to discuss their mortgage options with an advisor present on the day. Our sale continues until May 31 and if you would like to arrange a private viewing just give us a call.”

Eallagh phase two boasts three and four bed semidetached homes along with three bed townhouses. The semidetached homes start from only €130,000 while the townhouses start from only €110,000. These prices are available on a limited quantity of homes and the offer must end on May 31.

The company also offers tailored fit out packages, so home buyers can fit out the house to the standard they require, at all times keeping the costs down.

Eallagh is a beautifully elevated site situated on the Galway road with the entrance right across from the Topaz garage. The private development is fully landscaped and there are no management fees for residents.

Callanan & Walsh has a reputation for developing quality homes and Eallagh is another showpiece. Featuring traditional concrete block construction with ample insulation, finishes in these superior homes include all painting, stylish sanitary ware, quality chrome door handles, a high specification electrical fit out, an electric and power shower, and wiring for a burglar alarm, together with folding attic stairs to the partially floored attic with cut truss roof, Velux window, light, and frost heater. Externally there are paved driveways to the front, and walled-in garden and paved area to the rear, together with a host of large landscaped green open spaces throughout the development.
