Menlo roundabout suggestion

I read about the opposition to the plans to remove the Menlo roundabout and either the road from Menlo or Liosban. Re the Menlo road diversion proposal, instead of a new junction on the Headford road for traffic to/from Menlo, what about a mini roundabout at the proposed location where this diversion would meet the Headford Road? As things stand, it can be very difficult to enter the existing roundabout from Menlo. This should actually make it much easier for cars to get on to the main road as the traffic going out the Headford road is but a fraction of that turning right from Terryland. I have sent in this suggestion to Galway City Council.
