Galway Bay Hotel receives special merit for excellence in customer service

Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, was yet again recognised for its excellent standards of service at the CIE Tours International Awards of Excellence ceremony in the Shelbourne Hotel.

The team at the Galway Bay Hotel is overjoyed with this prestigious accomplishment as it reflects all of its hard work and dedication when it comes to delivering top class customer service.

The hotel received a special mention during the ceremony as it was commented that it has received an annual award of excellence from CIE for the last 12 years. It was the only hotel in Galway to receive an award which proves that the hotel is committed to exceeding customer’s expectations through continuous top class service and improvement.

According to director/general manager, Dan Murphy, the team at the Galway Bay Hotel is delighted with this award, Mr Murphy said: “What makes this so exciting for all of the team at Galway Bay Hotel is that over 50,000 overseas visitors to Ireland during 2011 voted on their preferred experience.

“This recognition is testament to the wonderful team we have here and also to the tireless effort they have invested in continuously raising the bar of our food and service standards across the hotel.”
