Anne-Marie Fyfe to launch new poetry book

ANNE-MARIE Fyfe’s new poetry collection, Understudies: New and Selected Poems, will be launched in Charlie Byrne's Bookshop, tomorrow, at 6.30pm.

Understudies is published by Seren Books and features new poems alongside selections from her previous works, Late Crossing (1999 ), Tickets from a Blank Window (2002 ), and The Ghost Twin (2005 ).

Anne-Marie Fyfe was born in Co Antrim and now lives in London. She was the 2006-2009 chair of the Poetry Society. She has won numerous awards for her poetry and teaches creative writing courses and poetry workshops.

She also founded the creative-writing strand of the John Hewitt International Summer School, held annually in Armagh.

All are welcome to the launch. Refreshments will be served.
