Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere comes to the stage

GALWAY’S CROI8 Productions will perform the Irish stage premiere of Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere at the Town Hall Theatre studio from December 8 to 11.

The play is based on the best-selling book by Neil Gaiman and was adapted for the stage by Robert Kauzlaric of the Lifeline Theatre Company in Chicago.

The show crosses the genres of black-comedy and crime-thriller and has a hint of Narnia added for good measure.

Richard Mayhew lives a dull life until the day he stops to care for an injured girl on the street. He is then thrust into a nightmare shadow world beneath the streets of London.

To return to his normal life, he must brave countless trials, uncover the truth behind a dark conspiracy, and face the Great Beast.

Tickets are €10/8 and are available from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 and www.tht.ie
