Local startups share their thoughts at free Ulster Bank event in museum

Ulster Bank will host a free evening event in the Galway Museum, Galway, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Wednesday, 10th November 10 to help people who have recently set up or are considering starting up their own business.

The Start Up Live roadshow, run in association with smallbusinesscan.com, will allow the next generation of local businesses to come together to share their hopes, fears, concerns and aspirations and trade expert advice on how build and sustain a successful company

On stage will be local business people who have ‘been there and done it’ to share and discuss their experiences and mistakes with the audience of would-be and recently-established firms.

The panel will be chaired by entrepreneur and founder of smallbusinesscan.com, Fionan Murray. Guest speakers on the panel will include Christine Coakley, Tamarind Restaurant, Liam Dinneen, EZ Living and Tara Dalrymple, Director, Busy Lizzie.

The Start Up Live event tour will feature fourteen dates across the island during October and November as part of the bank’s commitment to supporting new and emerging companies. The tour will start in Athlone on the 1st November and culminate in Cavan on the 30th November – taking in key towns and cities North and South along the way.
