The Presentation College in Athenry has received funding to convert a squash court on its grounds into two additional classrooms.
The funding was confirmed to him by the Minister for Education and Skills, an Tánaiste Mary Coughlan. Funding was also sanctioned to the college earlier this year for the refurbishment of two rooms.
The news has been welcomed by Fianna Fáil Galway East TD Noel Treacy who made representations on behalf of the school to secure the funds.
