National College of Ireland announces partnership with Western Management Centre

National College of Ireland has announced a strategic partnership with the Western Management Centre to offer local delivery of a number of the college’s most popular courses.

From September, an exciting range of programmes will be available from the centre, based in the Galway Business Park in Dangan. These include the Certificate in First Line Management, which remains one of the college’s most popular courses.

Other programmes that will be delivered in Galway include the CIPD Certificate and Diploma courses in Human Resource Management.

The partnership offers a fantastic opportunity for people to study a range of excellent courses right on their own doorstep.

NCI’s Director of Student Recruitment, Robert Ward, said: “National College of Ireland is excited at the prospect of working with the team at the Western Management Centre to deliver a great range of part-time programmes.

“With the current economic climate more people than ever are looking to return to education. Studying part-time delivers great benefits but can be time consuming, especially combined with busy personal and professional lives,” he said.

“Now this partnership means that people from the Galway area have access to some of the most popular courses on offer at National College of Ireland, but delivered at a convenient local centre.”

Mr Ward says this is an important part of the College’s mission to widen access to education. “NCI recognises the importance of learning at a time and a place that is convenient for the learner,” he said. National College of Ireland specialises in business, computing and community studies. For further details please visit the NCI website, www.ncirl.ie, or call 1850 221 721.
