MICK LALLY is starring in Diarmaid agus Gráinne, a revised version of the play written by Micheál MacLiammóir, and which was An Taibhdhearc’s first production in 1928.

Diarmaid agus Gráinne is being staged by An Taibhdhearc in the Druid Theatre, Chapel Lane. Performances take place tonight, tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday, at 8pm.

The play is based on the legendary romantic Celtic myth about lovers and deals with such themes as love, jealousy, pride, and honour. The cast includes Mick Lally, Áine Ní Dhroighneáin, Eoin MacDiarmada, Eoin Geoghegan, Sean MacDonncha, and Elaine Scahill.
