Book detailing history of Presentation schools in Athenry is selling like hot cakes

The impressive 600-page book detailing the history of the Presentation Sisters in Athenry is selling like hot cakes as it proves to be the must-have Christmas gift for all past pupils of the school.

The Story of the Presentation Sisters, Scoil Chroí Naofa and Presentation College, Athenry 1908-2008, was edited by Gerry Ahern and a team of dedicated committee members over a period of two years. It was launched by Bernadette Prendergast of Galway Bay FM earlier this month and so far sales have exceeded expectation.

The fantastic book which was printed to an extremely high standard by Castle Print contains hundreds of colour and black and white photographs and is now on sale for €30 in the following outlets throughout the hinterland of Athenry.
