Radisson Blu Hotels and Resorts fought off stiff competition to win the Hotel and Catering Review gold medal award for top hotel group at this year’s awards ceremony, held at a gala event in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel.
The Gold Medal Hotel Group category was hotly contested, with the other nominees being the Carlton Hotel Group, Hotel Partners and Maldron Hotel.
The award was collected by Han Oldenburger, Regional Director, Ireland, who said “I am very pleased to accept this gold medal award on behalf of all the Radisson Blu teams in our 11 properties around the country, which acknowledges in a very real and concrete way the hard work and dedication of all our staff.”
Marking its 21st anniversary this year, the Hotel and Catering Review gold medal awards are recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hospitality industry. Competition for the awards is intense, with a record number of entries this year.
