Radisson Blu shortlisted for award

The Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa has been shortlisted as the Best Four Star Hotel at the 21st Hotel and Catering Review Gold Medal Awards.

Hotel and Catering Review is Ireland’s leading business magazine for the hotel, restaurant, and food service markets. The Hotel and Catering Review Gold Medal Awards are now the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hotel and catering industries.

Stephen Hanley, general manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa, is thrilled with the nomination. “All the team here at the hotel work exceedingly hard to meet the four star credentials and I am delighted that this effort has been recognised by such an influential awards body.”

Since opening its doors in 2001, the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa has clearly established itself as one of the best hotels in Ireland, consistently winning significant awards, including Georgina Campbell’s ‘Best Business Hotel in Ireland’, Evening Herald ‘Best Business Hotel in Ireland’ Award, Irish Tatler Top 100 Hotels Worldwide listing, HSMAI Award for the ‘Best Sales and Marketing Strategy’, ‘Best Destination/Hotel Resort Spa of the Year’ at the Irish Beauty Industry Awards, and Top 50 Best Companies to work for in Ireland. It has also become an integral and important part of the life and social scene of Galway and the surrounding area, as well as a renowned, popular, and justifiably busy destination for Irish and international visitors to the city.
