Jane Eyre to be staged at the Town Hall

JANE EYRE, Charlotte Bronte’s much loved novel, will be brought to the stage of the Town Hall Theatre in a new, vivid adaptation by Michael McCafferty.

Jane is an unconventional heroine - a plain, unremarkable governess - yet through the story she grows into a passionate, independent woman, who pursues her dream of marrying the man of her choice - the mysterious and tempestuous Edward Rochester.

This adaptation draws on a variety of theatre and performance styles to bring this powerful, vital, drama to life onstage.

Jane Eyre will be staged by City Theatre, Dublin, in the Town Hall on Tuesday September 30 and Wednesday October 1 at 1.15pm and 8pm and on Thursday October 2 at 10.15am and 1.15pm

For tickets contact the Town Hall on 091 - 569777. Group rates are available for this show.
