Honda tells me the new Jazz is ideal for anyone considering downsizing from the sector above.
The Jazz offers many features of a bigger car, such as load space, driving feel, and high-spec equipment, but also promises great fuel economy, low emissions, and the more affordable running costs of a small one.
"Building a successor to the highly-popular Jazz was always going to be a challenge, but the new car raises the bar yet again,” says a Honda spokesman. "With more space, more kit, great fuel economy, and low running costs, value for money is the jewel in the crown for the new Jazz and so it will appeal to its traditional customer base as well as those looking to downsize from the sector above.”
Manual versions of the new Honda Jazz should go on sale here next month, with the i-Shift likely to be available from January 2009.
